CEDEL HAITI lance KoreBiz Plateau central

The ATTEINDRE project, which is managed by MEDA/USAID, gave birth to the KoreBiz program in the Central Plateau. CEDEL HAITI's mandate is to train 400 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on entrepreneurship and to accompany 200 of these MSMEs by providing them with technical assistance, helping them to become solvent businesses; enabling them to grow, become more competitive and create jobs in Haiti's commercial corridors. Overall, CEDEL HAITI proposes, through ATTEINDRE, to contribute to the strengthening of financial inclusion and entrepreneurship for the benefit of young entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs in the Central Plateau. The beneficiaries of the project are exclusively local entrepreneurs and residents of the Central Plateau who are distributed in the 12 communes of the region: Lascahobas, Belladère, Savanette, Mirebalais, Boucan Carré, Saut d'Eau, Thomonde, Hinche, Cerca la Source, Cerca Carvajal, Thomassique, Maissade. CEDEL HAITI has made the acquaintance of a critical mass of entrepreneurs in the Center, women and men who have taken the risk of investing in order to realize their dream. CEDEL HAITI has trained 418 MSME owners, 80% of whom are women and 70% of whom are young people under the age of 35. More than 200 MSME owners have benefited from technical assistance that allows them to better position themselves in the business market. To ensure the sustainability of this program which revolved around one main pillar, entrepreneurship, four (4) Clubs were created in January 2022 with more than 25 members each. One Entrepreneurship Club in Mirebalais, another in Belladère, a third in Hinche and the last one in Maissade. These clubs have all organized their launch and can already list the realization of 2 activities each. CEDEL HAITI remains committed to the entrepreneurs of the Central Plateau, as is the case for all our beneficiaries of any project. The team has had an amazing time with the beneficiaries and CEDEL HAITI can proudly acknowledge having a new family in the Central Plateau.
